How to do it step by step
Learn how to m ake this recipe step by step.
The preambles
While you preheat the oven to 180Âș, cut the top of the bread rolls or baguettes -you can save it for other recipes-, and remove the whole crumb. Next, remove the skin and calves from the bacon, and cut it into small cubes. And finally, wash and chop the parsley.
Make the stuffing
First, break the eggs in a bowl and beat them lightly. Next, season with salt and pepper, add the chopped cream and parsley and stir until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
Bake the rolls
Place a sheet of greaseproof paper on the baking sheet and place the rolls on top. Using a spoon, fill them with the mixture you have previously prepared. Then sprinkle the surface with the grated cheese, spread the bacon cubes on top and bake the stuffed bread rolls for about 10 minutes until the egg is curdled and the bacon is golden brown.
Other filling options
If the filling doesn’t convince you, just change the bacon for smoked salmon, prawns, chorizo, mushrooms…. Or if you want a less calorie or vegetarian option, you can also replace the egg and cream filling with a vegetable and mushroom filling, for example.
Trick
A trick to wait even less is to have the stuffed bread rolls already cooked in the refrigerator and just heat them for two or three minutes in the oven or on the microwave grill.
